“I personally grew up in Singapore and was a gymnast, so I was getting injured a lot, but thankfully the way drugs are handled is very different in Singapore and I was fortunate enough not to have been exposed to opioids the way athletes & lots of other people I know here have been. It scares me to think that for people growing up in the city, we could all easily become a victim of this opioid epidemic. Something needs to change, it needed to change yesterday, and we are looking for you to lead that change.”
